Location: the hotel was just off england, bus stop, and the promenade at Torquay. It was close to Miss P's Talk of the Bay, where you can have lunch.

I loved the place, everything was excellent. The staff were amiable and pleasant in case of questions. The room was delightful, airy, with exceptionally comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious - plenty of meals - cereals and toast. Its location a 10-15 minute walk from a fine art gallery was brilliant. I came here for 2 nights and had a very comfortable stay🙂🙂

A very nicely decorated, very clean room. Everything in the room and en- suite worked perfectly. John and Julie are great at welcoming guests and ensuring a fabulous stay. Upon our arrival, we really enjoyed being greeted and served a nice cup of tea in the lounge looking onto a pretty view. They also gave us a map with indications of where we were and the best way to the sea front, shops and restaurant. All this was done in a professional, caring manner and we are very pleased with having stayed at Exton. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately during my stay I had a day when I was sick, the owners did all they could to help me and even called their doctor for me. They were very interested in making the stay as good as possible for all guests, food was good and plentiful.

From minute one of arrival the hosts could not have made us feel more welcome which set the tone for our stay in resort, the breakfast was excellent, Bar was cheap, all areas of hotel clean tidy & well presented
Shower was too small ( but not hotels fault as im on the large side & single shower is too small for me )

The proprietor s were really friendly, we arrived by train (my mum, daughter and myself) and were very kindly picked up from the train station and dropped off there at the end of our stay, this took a lot of worry and hassle away from me, allowing us to have a relaxing break. The rom was spotless ,bedding smelt of washing detergent which my daughter was impressed by and the breakfast was always freshly cooked to order, we were very pleased we picked such a lovely place to stay.
Nothing to dislike

Had a great stay, owners were very friendly and helpful. The family room was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast offered a good choice and the Full English was delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Exton.
